The beginning of the MarionettenWerkstatt

More than 30 years ago it all started with a marionette as a gift to my parents. Eversince she hangs in their living room.

The O.M.A.1 (Original der Marionettewerkstatt Anfänge Nr. 1) is unique original of its days.The selection of cloth has been poor, hands and feet are rough and they are not even colored, the facial expression has been limited – to keep it short, artisanal not close to finished. But last but not least she is the begining of everything here and therefore we present her with pride, just because she is not perfect.
