MW moves the strings in the national team

Beginning of 2008 we are getting a request of a Hamburg agency to build marionettes of the complete national football team, needed for am commercial tv spot for the European Cup.

The Marionetten Werkstatt creates the heads, hands and uniforms (thanks to the layout of Design agency Team R.O.T) while bodies, the put-together and the strings are done by Ingo Woitke and Jürgen Maaßen. For months it is a moving co-operation.
The difficulty is not just the keeping-up with actuality of the team, but also the players tendency to permanently changing their hairstyle.
Finally it is an entertaining Spot for DSF (Deutsches Sport Fernsehen, German Sports Television) and a remarkable making-of.
